Sci-Fi/Historical Fiction: If you could travel back in time to save someone’s life, would you do it? Whose life would you save? These were questions Claire Callahan asked herself. "Yes," was her first answer, and "Marilyn Monroe" was the second. But she forgot one tiny question, “What about the repercussions?”

Note from the author: This book is a work of (science) fiction. Please do not take my use of various conspiracy theories in this work of fiction as as an endorsement of these fabricated stories. Marilyn Monroe tragically died from an overdose of Nembutal. People can debate whether it was on purpose or by accident, but the sad fact is that misuse of prescribed drugs took a beautiful, warm, compassionate, talented, intelligent, gentle soul from this world.
Young Adult Fiction: Until now, the most important thing in 14-year-old Cornelia Drake's life was maintaining her rightful place just outside the most popular clique at Storm River High School. But when she is sentenced to community service for writing a racial slur against a Muslim teacher, Mrs. Hakim, Cornelia's world comes crashing down. She is forced to join Mrs. Hakim's writing club, Writers on the Storm, where Cornelia is introduced to a group of extraordinary people from all walks of life, including Admeta Vasquez, a classmate who makes no bones about despising Cornelia. When the two rivals become unlikely friends, they are thrown a curve ball when they discover that Mrs. Hakim has breast cancer and may not make it. Cornelia is forced to choose between her precious clique and her new found friends. She can take the easy road or stand and fight alongside the teacher she once despised.
Marilyn
Monroe

I've long be captivated by Marilyn Monroe. She transcended beauty as a formidable advocate for civil, human and animal rights, and an outspoken voice against the looming threat of nuclear war and the stigma surrounding mental health.
Marilyn grew up in the foster care system and dropped out of high school, and still managed to become the most famous woman in the world. She was remarkably well-read, incredibly caring and fiercely independent. Marilyn left an indelible mark that extends far beyond the silver screen.
Marilyn's legacy is a testament to the idea that one's past or circumstances need not dictate their future.
Saving Marilyn is my small tribute to the woman whose true beauty lies not just in her appearance but in the authenticity of her character and the kindness in her heart.

Keepsakes
I had the great fortune of being able to attend the 60th Anniversary Memorial for Marilyn Monroe hosted by the Marilyn Remembered Fan Club, an incredible group of people who hold this vigil every year. It was an amazing week and I cherish the friends and acquaintances I made and want to share the keepsakes with fans who weren't able to attend.
